The purpose of the organization was to promote the welfare of American sculptors. Since its founding in the nineteenth century, the National Sculpture Society has remained dedicated to promoting figurative and realistic sculpture.
As of recent, Big Statues LLC has joined the ranks of the many historic and legendary sculptors that have both contributed to and benefited from the National Sculpture Society. Not only is it a prestigious society that many sculptors strive to join, but it supports and sustains the culture of Big Statues. By becoming a member of the National Sculpture Society, it holds Big Statues accountable to continue to produce top quality and detailed sculpting work for clients across the world.
"It is a another goal of ours achieved," stated Matt Glenn, founder of Big Statues as he spoke on becoming a member of the National Sculpture Society. "We strive to surround ourselves with the best and compete with the best. Joining this wonderfully acclaimed society is a big step towards maintaining that goal." The National Sculpture Society annually holds many celebration events and exhibitions that Big Statues hopes to be a part of in the near future. Until then, they are enjoying their new accomplishment and pressing forward with new custom bronze sculpture projects that keep them plenty busy.
