The dedication ceremony, organized by the 10th Mountain Division, 3rd Brigade Spartan Combat Training Team, was held to unveil the custom bronze sculpture created by Big Statues for those brigade members who have lost their lives protecting the nation’s freedom. The ceremony was held in Fort Drum, New York, the combat training team’s base. The ceremony was open to five-thousand members and invited guests of the brigade.
The dedication ceremony, organized by the 10th Mountain Division, 3rd Brigade Spartan Combat Training Team, was held to unveil the custom bronze sculpture created by Big Statues for those brigade members who have lost their lives protecting the nation’s freedom. The ceremony was held in Fort Drum, New York, the combat training team’s base. The ceremony was open to five-thousand members and invited guests of the brigade.
The sculpture sits on a six foot base that contains engravings of the accomplishments and fallen members of the brigade. The bronze Spartan is a replica of the 3rd Brigade Combat Team’s mascot, and is custom detailed with the brigades logo on the shield of the Spartan.
The 10th Mountain Division 3rd Brigade Spartan Combat Training Team is a specialized division of the United States Military and is custom trained and committed to the development and peace of countries such as Afghanistan and Iraq.
